Considering I’ve only written three pumpkin recipe posts so far this year, I’m feeling a bit behind in spreading my intense love (more like obsession) of pumpkin to the world. Thus, it’s time to break out another fantabulous recipe that incorporates one of, if not the, most delicious flavor of Fall.

Now, you’ve all heard of Puppy Chow (aka Muddy Buddies). No, it’s not dog food!

Although Kibbles n’ Bits is my favorite…

For those of you who’ve been deprived of this sweet treat, it’s a wonderfully easy, no-bake, kid-friendly, addictively sweet mix of chex cereal squares, melted chocolate, peanut butter, and powdered sugar. That’s it!  So you really have no excuse NOT to make this awesomely sugar-coated treat.

And because the ingredients are so simple, it’s super easy to customize and incorporate your own favorite flavors! Though it’s rather tough to beat chocolate and peanut butter, I’m pretty confident that I can sway your tastebuds with this…

Pumpkin Spice Puppy Chow!

It’s basically a Fall-inspired take on the original. And boy was it GOO-OOD!

I got the idea when I spotted this bag of wondrous possibilities!

Pumpkin Spice Candy Melts??? Yes, please!!! I’ll take 10 of them, thank you!

And because this is Pumpkin Spice Puppy Chow, it only makes sense to add these festively colorful, chocolatey gems of pumpkin goodness…

I mean, it’s kind of mandatory when the words, “Pumpkin Spice” are printed right on the bag, right?

Did I mention how addictive this was?

It’s gotten to the point where I’ve had to give myself a time limit when I eat this…or else I’ll never stop myself!

I guess it’s a safer (and much cheaper) addiction to have than drugs or alcohol…

Thanks Mary! Sorry you weren’t able to find the pumpkin spice m&ms, but if it makes you feel any better, I prefer the candy corn m&ms that you used in your mix MUCH more!!!
